Italian Carcano M91 Cavalry Carbine

Carcano is the frequently used name for a series of Italian bolt-action, magazine-fed, repeating military rifles and carbines. These are original Italian Carcano M91 Cavalry carbines, from the Italian Carabinieri and they are in Good to Fair Surplus condition. These carbines have probably been sitting in the Carabinieri’s armories for the last 50 plus years. The model M91 Cavalry Carbine was built to be a carbine, this is not a cut down version of an M91 rifle! The feature a folding bayonet. Each carbine comes with one 6 round En Bloc Clip.

Please Note:

• Metal: The metal condition is very consistent in this lot, expect some nicks and scratches from use, potentially some freckling and some finish loss. These have been well used carbines and they have been in storage for many years. 
• Stocks: The stocks vary in color from light to dark, there will be nicks, dings and scratches from use and storage. There maybe small cracks or repairs in stocks, no major cracks that we can see that would prevent the carbine from being used. 
• Folding Bayonets: All carbines have a folding bayonet, they do vary between push buttons, levers, and spring loaded to lock/ unlock the bayonet.
• Grease and Oil: All will have a light coating of grease/oil, bores will have grease and oil in them. These are much cleaner than rifles we have received in heavy cosmoline. If you have ever cleaned a Mosin or an SKS, it is nothing like that! They should all cleanup easily and nicely.
