GAS RAM PISTON SPRING NITRO GAMO CROSMAN

INTERCHANGEABLE WITH CROSMAN PART BT9M22-00-5

TO SUIT GAMO CROSMAN BENJAMIN AND OTHER AIR RIFLES WITH A 100mm PISTON STROKE

100% NITROGEN FILLED THIS INCREASES THERMAL STABILITY AND ENSURES CONSTANT VELOSITY AND ACCURACY

I HAVE USED THIS RAM TO CONVERT MANY METAL TRIGGER GAMO’S AND REPLACE FAILED CROSMAN RAMS

A GAS RAM CAN BE LEFT COCKED WITH OUT FATIGUE AND WILL PRODUCE A SMOOTH COCKING ACTION AND A FAST SOLID SHOT CYCLE FREE FROM SPRING NOISE AND VIBRATION

CAN BE USED AS PART OF A CONVERSION OR TO REPLACE AN EXISTING FAILED GAS RAM

260MM TOTAL LENGTH

150MM BODY

110MM SHAFT LENGHT

8MM SHAFT

60KG 600N MIN

***THIS IS NOT A GAS RAM CONVERSION KIT JUST THE GAS RAM ONLY***

ADAPTORS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR THIS RAM TO FUNCTION YOU WILL HAVE TO MAKE THESE YOURSELF TO SUIT THE APPLICATION

I HAVE INCLUDED DRAWINGS FOR THE GAMO METAL TRIGGER ADAPTORS SO YOU CAN MAKE THEM YOUR SELF

THE GAS RAM SHOULD BE COMPRESSED AT LEAST 3MM AND BE INSTALLED CENTRED IN THE RIFLE ACTION

IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF THIS RAM WILL FIT USE THE FOLLOWING METHOD

*REMOVE THE SPRING AND GUIDES
*MOVE THE PISTON AS IF THE GUN IS UN COCKED AND MARK WHERE THE TRIGGER SEAR WILL CATCH THE PISTON WHEN THE GUN IS COCKED
*INSTALL THE TRIGGER UNIT
*MOVE THE PISTON TO THE REAR AS IF THE GUN IS COCKED MARK THE POSITION OF THE SEAR POINT
*THIS IS THE STROKE OF THE PISTON
*CUT 2 WOODEN DOWELS ONE 260MM AND ONE 150MM
*MOVE THE PISTON FORWARD TO THE UN COCKED POSITION AND INSERT THE 260MM DOWEL REASSEMBLE THE END PLUG AND PIN
*NOTE HOW WELL THIS FITS ALSO REMEMBER THE RAM CAN BE COMPRESSED 3MM BUT YOU WILL STILL NEED 100MM OF PISTON TRAVEL
*MOVE THE PISTON TO THE COCKED POSITION AND INSERT THE 152MM DOWEL AND INSTALL THE END CAP AND PIN
*NOTE HOW THIS FITS ANDAND HOW MUCH SPACE IS LEFT. THE CLOSED LENGTH CAN NOT BE EASLY CHANGED
*AT THIS POINT YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD IDEA IF THE RAM WILL FIT AND WHAT ADAPTORS WIL BE REQUIRED
I GENERALY MOUNT THE ROD END IN THE PISTON WITH A 3MM SPACER TO PISTON ID WITH A CENTERED 2MM DEEP DIVET FOR THE RAM ROD TO FIT IN
FOR THE OTHER END I MAKE A DELRIN SPACER JUST UNDER PISTON ID TO FIT IN THE RECESS OF THE END CAP SEE THE LAST PHOTO FOR AN EXAMPLE (PARTS SHOWN NOT INCLUDED)
